The National Olympic Stadium Phnom Penh

This project was developed by master's student Catherine Liang as part of professor Aziza Chaouni's course "Voices We Seldom Hear" at the Daniels School of Architecture, University of Toronto. For the duration of a semester, an online accessible 3D model was developed to bring the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh to people around the world and share knowledge about the building to a broader audience. Since the National Olympic Stadium is both a culturally significant building in Cambodia and an architectural marvel of modern times, it was important to create a project that anyone can “visit” from the comfort of their house and the possibility to learn more about the building’s history, purpose, and qualities.
